Baron Vaughn
Baron Vaughn is an actor, writer, director, and standup comedian. As an actor, he was a series regular on Netflix’s GRACE AND FRANKIE in the role of “Bud” and is the voice of "Tom Servo" in Netflix’s MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER: 300: THE RETURN. He’s also been a recurring guest star on Comedy Central’s CORPORATE, Tru TV’s THOSE WHO CAN’T, COMEDY BANG BANG, and appeared in the films CLOVERFIELD and BLACK DYNAMITE. He was the co-creator and co-host of Comedy Central’s, THE NEW NEGRO’S, and Funny or Die’s, CALL & RESPONSE. He also co-created and starred in the Fusion network documentary, FATHERLESS. Baron’s directorial debut, the short film SO MUCK TO DO, featuring Toni Trucks, can be seen in the horror anthology, SCARE PACKAGE ON SHUDDER. He will also be directing an upcoming Netflix comedy special for Brian Simpson.
As a comedian, Baron’s performed stand-up on HBO’s 2 DOPE QUEENS, TBS’s Conan (twice), Showtime's SXSW Comedy, as well as THE MELTDOWN and THE HALF HOUR, both on Comedy Central. He's performed at many festivals around North America including the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival (Aspen), Just for Laughs Comedy Festival (Montreal), South Beach Comedy Festival (Miami), Moontower Comedy Festival (Austin), SXSW Festival (Austin), San Francisco Sketchfest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival (Portland), High Plains Comedy Festival (Denver), Vancouver Comedy Festival, Accidental Comedy Festival (Cleveland), Chicago Comedy Exposition, JashFesht (Palm Springs), Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival (TN), and Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival (Seattle).
Baron has two comedy recordings, RAISED BY CABLE and BLAXISTENTIAL CRISIS, both available on AST Records. He is currently an Artist-in-Residence at the Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY and holds a BFA from Boston University.

Sign ups go live via email Monday-Friday, simply send your full name to creekandcaveopenmic@gmail.com. Comedians will be chosen each week and will receive 3-4 minute sets. If you do not make the list, feel free to show up and put your name in the bucket. 4 random names will be chosen from the bucket and those people will receive sets as well.

Jordan Jensen
Jordan Jensen started comedy in upstate NY before moving to Nashville TN, where she
spent a year working for clubs and taking her comedy on the road in her pickup truck.
Most recently, she was featured on "The Late Late Show with James Corden". In 2021,
Jordan was named the first female comic to win “NY’s Funniest Stand Up” at the NY
Comedy Festival. She now lives in Brooklyn NY and has since been featured on
SiriusXM, as a "New Face" at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival and is
now a regular at the renowned Comedy Cellar. Her comedy consists of tales of her
bizarre upbringing, highly unconventional family, and filterless confessions of her time on
this filthy planet.

Last minute plans are some of the best. Free last minute plans are even better. The list of free things to do in Austin felt a little short, so we’ve been steadily adding new weekly shows to our calendar that cost nothing, zilch, nada. Free. The city might be expensive, but the comedy doesn’t have to be.
There aren’t a lot of Austin comedy clubs that have free weekly shows hosting some of the biggest names in stand-up. If you just paid rent and still wanna make date night memorable, swing by The Creek for one of our many free shows.
